About Me

My Mission

My mission is to educate and empower the aerialist community through weight training.

​

Pole is a gateway drug into movement for a good portion of the community. Once you're hooked, I want to help you with injury prevention and progression of your skills. 

​

Off-aparatus training can help so much with things like strengthening your bad side, and building strength/endurance/power/flexibility/etc to be able to progress and nail all the tricks you want!

​

And, tricks aside, weight training is gonna help with overall longevity in and out of the pole studio.

My journey through movement...

Growing up as an athlete, movement has always been a part of my life. It wasn't until high school, though, that I began to realize the true impact that fitness could have, not just on someone's body composition, but on their confidence and how they show up in every day life.

​

This belief was only reaffirmed when I found pole in 2019. As most people will say when trying pole, I took one class and was hooked. I loved the blend of strength, dance, flexibility, and power - it was such a unique and fun way to move my body and express myself.

 

It was also the first time I had been around a group of people, mostly women, who radiated confidence and celebrated themselves and others. It was the first time it felt "ok" to express and celebrate my more sensual side and actually allow myself to feel sexy *gasp*.

And now here we are. After managing a gym for several years I decided I wanted to dive fully in to my passion and expertise of training the pole and aerial community.

My qualifications...

  • Degree in Health and Exercise Science

  • Minor in Management

  • Certified personal trainer

  • Certified group fitness instrucor

  • Certified Pole Level 1 + 2 Instructor

  • Certified Girls Gone Strong

Intro to Lifting for Aerialists

Looking for something you can get started with right away? This program is perfect for people who are newer to the gym and want a bit of direction, with an aerialists goals in mind. Program is 2x/wk for a total of 5 weeks.
